These mp3s are from the original 78rpm MGM recordings made in 1969 for Elvis Presley's The Trouble with Girls. These recordings were played back during filming for lip-synching purposes. In the film Cripple Creek is heard in its entirety; Ramblin' Boy is heard completely but some of it is under another scene; Cuckoo is barely heard in a scene where fireworks are the focus. The arrangements are by Rainey-Paris-Rumery, from materials in the public domain and collected by Alan Lomax. The musicians are: Kathy Rainey (vocals, tambourine); Bill Paris (vocals, guitar); and Leonard Rumery (vocals, banjo, guitar).
